The ZJ series slurry pumps are classified into two types. One type is the ZJ type, which is a horizontal, axially-inlet, single-stage, single-suction centrifugal slurry pump; the other type is the ZJL type, which is a vertical, axially-inlet, single-stage, single-suction centrifugal slurry pump.

Structural Features of the ZJ Type Slurry Pump:

① Pump Head Part
The pump head part of the ZJ type slurry pump includes the pump casing, impeller and shaft seal device. The pump head is connected to the bracket with bolts. According to requirements, the position of the pump outlet can be installed and used at eight different angles with an interval of 45°.

The pump casing of the ZJ type slurry pump has a double-layer structure. The outer layer is a metal pump casing (front pump casing, rear pump casing), and its material is usually HT200 or QT500-7; the inner layer casing can be made of high chromium alloy cast iron (including the volute, front wear plate, rear wear plate), or made of rubber (including the front volute, rear volute).

The impeller is composed of a front cover plate, a rear cover plate, blades and back blades. The blades are twisted blades, usually with 3 to 6 pieces. The back blades are distributed on the outer sides of the front cover plate and the rear cover plate, usually with 8 pieces. The material of the impeller is high chromium alloy cast iron, and the impeller is connected to the shaft by threads.

Applications of Slurry Pumps: In mineral processing plants for transporting coarse, fine and tailing slurries, in power plants for removing ash and slag, in coal washing plants for transporting media, and in smelting plants for transporting slurries.
